The following position has been approved for Fall 2002 for the Department
of Art and Art History:
Graphic Design: Visiting Assistant-Professor
Full Time
Start date: Aug 1, 2002
Department of Art and Art History seeks and excellent Designer/Teacher in the
area of Graphic Design. MFA or equivalent experience. 3 years college level
teaching beyond Graduate Assistantship preferred.
While the position is centered on graphic design, candidates strengths would
be accommodated in related areas such as: Typography, Advertising Design, Design
and Pre-press, Product Design and Basic Two-Dimensional Design and both Computer
and Conventional Illustration.
Duties: teach six undergraduate level courses; three each semester.

evidence of professional activity, i.e. Slides, CD-ROM, include slides and/or
examples of student work, 3 letters of recommendation and SASE.
